Class Schedules

Thanks to your interest and support of the arts in Houston, Looking At Art begins its 20th season on Tuesday, September 8, and Wednesday, September 9, 2009, 7:00-9:00 pm. Thursday morning classes begin on September 17, 10 am - Noon.

Led by Victoria and Marshal Lightman, each class meets for four (Fall sessions) or five (Spring sessions) Tuesdays or Wednesdays, from 7 until 9 pm, or five Thursdays from 10 am until noon, to tour Houston's contemporary art galleries, alternative spaces, and artist's studios. The class fee is $60 per four-week series, $70 per five-week series and you can reserve your space by sending a check to: Looking At Art, P.O. Box 131286, Houston, Texas 77219-1286. Classes meet at a different gallery each week (where the artist is usually present to speak about their work) and then continue at an artist’s studio. The April classes vary in that they visit a gallery and then a collector’s home. The April class is offered by invitation only first to current and frequent class members.
